All this talk of cleavages , karma and turning 56 has me a bit up tight. I'm going to watch the bird nest and restore some inner tranquility.

Jake knows buddhism, so he could help us out with our ponderings on cleavage and karma. And I so can see him watching the bird cam too, taking little time off during the busy day to join us meditating...

Well, watching is what we're supposed to do here! ;D
So bring them on, the more web cams the merrier! Jake's bound to walk by one some day. This means of course that there needs to be someone monitoring them 24 hours a day.

About bookmarking:
Yes, you have the option to bookmark a thread when you reply to it. Below the box where you type your post, you'll see a column of boxes you can check/uncheck as the need arises. The first one is for bookmarking. Additionally, you can set your profile to automatically notify you of replies to threads you've posted on.
Darn, I forgot to add....also, at the bottom of the page of replies, there's a link that says "bookmark." You can click on that to bookmark particular threads, too.

Hiya, miffed, thanks for the info. I wanted to exalt you in gratitude but it won't let me.

Additionally, you can set your profile to automatically notify you of replies to threads you've posted on. How do you do that? I've tried to find out but no luck... And thanks for the info, miffed!

Hiya, miffed, thanks for the info. I wanted to exalt you in gratitude but it won't let me. Well, shoot! And I'm a karma whore, too.....that would have been my gratification for the day! phoebe, I beg forgiveness! I thought you could set your profile to do that, but I don't see it anywhere, either. I guess the only place to do that is in the thread, or when posting. I'm sorry!

The exalt/smite seems to have disappeared when I post. Can anyone tell me why and how do I get it back? Thanks.

Well Dani if you used that feature recently, you will need to wait 2 hrs. before you can give or take Karma. Them theres the rules. Why? I don't know. ....if it's not displaying after 2hrs have passed then it must be something else.... To review: You can use the Karma feature once every 2 hrs.

Thanks for responding, Simon, but I haven't used it since I posted that question because it had disappeared at some point before then. I don't even know when. How strange. Let me know if you ever figure out why. I'm sad that I can't give Karma when someone says something really great. All I can do is tell them. Thanks again.

Thanks, Simon. Yes I can see when I have been given Karma, but I don't see the exalt/smite words on my posts like I see on everyone Else's. I know they were there originally when I first started posting, but I don't know what happened.
